I Graduated from the University of Regina, with a degree in Visual Arts (2014-2018) and Creative Technologies (2015-2019). To continue my education, in 2020, I also received a certificate in Digital Marketing through Saskatchewan Polytechnic and a Web Development Certificate from Brainstation in 2022.
For my art practice, my main focuses are drawing, photography and video. In particular I use all of these tools together to create my finished works. All of my drawings are based on photographs that I have personally taken, then edited in order to fit the artwork that I want to make. Then along with that I also record videos of myself creating the work or videos to go along with the work. I feel like the video component adds another element to expand the work further. It not only lets me see the work again from start to finish, but it also allows audiences to see the parts of the art piece that they do not normally get to see.
Outside of my art practice, I am working in the graphic design, social media, web development space. Since graduation, I have wanted to be able to work with small businesses in Saskatchewan in order to not only stay local, but be involved in the community that I live in. I love being able to create and produce ideas that these businesses are wanting for their viewers. This goal has lead me to work with a variety of Saskatchewan-based companies, both small and large.
In my free time, I also create various drawings based on my favourite games, shows, etc. You can find these videos (and all of my fine-art videos) on my Youtube Channel linked below. If you're interested in supporting my work, take a look at my Etsy Shop, also linked below.
